L'abbraccio (The hug)

In the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, I made this work called "The Hug" . It represents the desire for affection, but also the importance of embracing oneself and accepting oneself. Michael J Obeten's strong hands and masculine features are mixed with soft and delicate colors such as pink, yellow and green. The chalk is cozy, soft and gradient. I thank Michael (Italian model and wearer from Pesaro) for his expressive intensity and for agreeing to be portrayed.
